Father's Day
To the Daddy that makes us proud each and every day... We showered him with gifts...
Everything he needed from handmade picture frames to handmade tumbler cups to A's paraphernalia. We made him fluffy waffles and hot cocoa, took him to the recycling center and helped him recycle the cans and bottles, and then we went to the pool for a nice long swim. He needed it. He works so hard for us. We love you Daddy!

Nick
Nick turned 5 and had his birthday at the park. Here's some goofy pics of the kids being themselves.
Of course when you pay to get into a park to ride the rides all the kids want to do is fish for crawfish with a stick and a hot dog piece.

The girls riding with Joe.
After the party we all went to the outdoor movie night and watched Despicable Me. The kids loved watching the movie outside on the lawn and eating popcorn.

Olivia's Preschool Graduation
Last official day of school Olivia chose to bring balloons to share. She was very proud to give them away.
My baby graduated today. It's a scary thought that she will now be headed to school 5 days a week but she is ready to go and can't wait to meet her new friends and teacher.
Here she is being announced to walk out in her cap. Just for reference, it was a swim party and BBQ for the graduation party. That is why all the kids have on swim attire. Their real cap and gown photos were taken on a different day.
Liv's giving me the thumbs up that "She did it!!"
Diplomas received, let's rock!!
Olivia threw her cap right up into the air and was ready to celebrate!!!
Liv with her friend Grace.
Liv with Spencer.
Post graduation lunch because we all know when you graduate, your parents take you out to lunch!

Camping Memorial Weekend 2011
Home Sweet Home for 4 days... Wow was it cool.
We moved in and then needed a snack before heading to the pool. It was heated and wonderful.
Our first morning breakfast. We dined on bagels, OJ, bananas, and oatmeal. Afterwards we all sat on the swing and drank our hot cocoa before heading off for some fishing.
The girls spent plenty of time at the park playing with their newly formed friends.
Ava found a pet rock.
The dogs were able to have their fun at the dog park.
Lady enjoyed herself. Made me so happy to see my pooch out there getting to run around and be free.
And then there's this guy... he enjoyed himself at the dog park equally as well as the dogs if not more.
Olivia, again was the only one to catch a catfish. How she does this we will never know.
More pool time- it opened at 9 AM each morning.
One afternoon the weather became rough with wind and a little rain so we rented a TV and were offered some free movies. Real rustic camping I know. And yes we brought the mini fridge.
The family enjoying their popcorn and movies.
Making s'mores with the other kids at the community fire pit before roasting on our fire pit. Ava had fallen asleep at 6 PM so these two went on their own.
Best buds.
At the pool part there were boat races and prizes to be won. They also had a paddle boat race and an ice cream float day for free.
This was one of the best vacations ever. The kids got to do everything they wanted from the bunk beds to the pool and we were happy to be able to take hot showers and use a real potty instead of a tree. I would do it over again in a heartbeat. There wasn't any fighting or complaining. It was relaxing and fun. Now if it were only like this everyday.
