Ava - Karate

Ava demonstrated her skills with to her instructor and did really well. She took her time, paid attention, and followed directions. We were proud of her.

After doing such an amazing job, Ava received her stripe!

Ava- Orange Belt!

 Ava tested today for her Orange belt in karate.

 She has to demonstrate all of her skills to her teacher.

Karate Rocks

Ava's first time sparring and she showed no fear. I think she actually said, "Mommy, when do I get to do that again?"

And what got into this one? She was so shy at first. Now Olivia can't wait to beat them down.

Ava and Karate

Ava's super excited to get her gi and begin karate.

The beginning warm-up routine is stomach intensive.

And there she goes... off to be a big girl learning her moves!! Way to go Ava!!!

1st Stripe

Olivia has earned her first stripe in Karate. She performed all of her techniques in front of her Sensei without any correction. She was so happy. Dave was there too to see it which made it extra special.

Tonight is sparring night. Monday's are always techniques and Wednesday's are always sparring. It should be fun and interesting. This will be Liv's second time going up against a kid rather than the instructor. Fun fun fun!

Olivia demonstrated her moves solo for the teacher. She rocked!

Olivia loves karate. I wish now that I had signed up Ava too. In March they'll both be practicing.
