I'm hoping this Santa wasn't asked to bring a shovel or a big pool to our house this year. Maybe they asked him for something reasonable and small...like a candy cane.

We're On VACATION!!!
And being that we are on vacation we packed our best formal wear. Ahh the princesses have emerged.
And what's better than a princess... one that's covered in cookie dough and making ginger bread men with Grammie.
Silly girl!

And here's the official cookie tester... (you may wonder why she is sitting in a high chair since she is way past the point of needing one, but it is just so she can see over the back of the couch while she eats her cookie. If she sits at the table, she can only view half the screen and well, that's no fun.)

The baker has to test the cookies as well.

Oops someone got a "time-out" and chose to stand in the corner...which princess could that be...?

Preschool Christmas Party
Here's my cuties on the way to their Christmas Party:
Is it wrong to be jealous of your child's party? This thing freakin' rocked! I don't remember Santa's visit to my school being so fun or personal... Here's Olivia hugging Santa telling him to bring her a mermaid, a shovel, a sleigh, and a pool. Everyone laughed when she said a pool. Mary looked at me and said, "Did you get that mom? Don't forget, she said a POOL!!!" I guess we are moving.
And what did my beautiful Ava want from Santa...a lollipop. Someone with low expectations...gotta love it.
Olivia wanted to make sure Santa didn't forget anything.
Check out all the presents Ms. K gave to Olivia. Wow. I don't remember my teacher giving us gifts either. We love Ms. K. She takes such great care of our kids and is so very wonderful.
Merry Christmas Everyone!!!!

We Found Rudolph
She was hiding at Olivia's school... Look at how freakin' cute she is:
And here she is struttin' her butterfly tights...
Well we have one last day of school before the break. Santa's going to be there and a photographer. We are bringing cupcakes and Ava. Those two things seem to go together well.
Now if Olivia would just snap out of the hunger strike is going through. I swear as soon as I notice she is eating regularly, she stops eating and acts like an infant who can't feed herself. It is such a huge pain. Today's lunch lasted over an hour. I know set a timer... I did. She will still have a pile of food leftover. Let her go hungry... yeah yeah. Except I am too poor to throw uneaten food away so she will get it served again at the next meal. No snacks...we hardly have snacks and if we do it is at least 2 hours before lunch. What's left- a frontal lobotomy for Dave and I...? I guess that's what it is all coming down to.

Although I love that Olivia is wearing her glasses without issue, I don't like that I can't see her eyes in her photos so...
We took them off for the pictures. Today Liv made an angel and a reindeer.

Ava and I were busy too. We got the oil changed in the truck, paid a bill, picked up the mail, went to the coffee shop to use our gift card, and she wanted a hamburger at 9:30 A.M. so I took her to McD's and she ate a sausage McMuffin. I know she isn't supposed to have that kind of food on her diet but sometimes we have to break the rules and live a little.
After all that it was time to pick up Livynut from school and head out to do a little more shopping.

Santa Projects
I have been waiting for these Santa Projects. Olivia made this great stocking all by herself.
She also made this wonderful Reindeer necklace. I'm hoping next week she makes an ornament for our tree.
And here we are the letter"N".
Ava needed her snap shot of the necklace too.
Today was a good at school for Olivia. Ava played and colored while she was away. I had the misfortunate opportunity to pick up and clean dog poop and Ava's wet sheets. For Joy!
