Easter

Easter, we practiced for the hunt several weeks in a row... The girls were so excited checked the window every morning when they would wake up to see if the eggs had yet been dropped on our back lawn. Finally the day was here. The Easter Bunny came and he was good this year. Or was it the kids? Not really sure... There's a lot of pictures so I'm leaving descriptions off.

After the big bash at home we headed to Juli's for another party. More pictures with some descriptions.

Dave the baby whisperer. This other baby is 3 months old and was crying. Dave picked him up and he quieted down. Gavin on the other hand isn't too happy with sharing.

 Appropriately there was a bunny there!

Gavin got his first taste at pulling out bunny fur.

Gearing up for the hunt...

Wearing their bunny ears and feeling proud and hopeful.

Gavin's first collection of eggs. He picked up 4 eggs with help from mom and he was a winner!

After the hunt, the kids ate hot dogs, cotton candy, cookies, pop corn, played in the petting zoo, and made some crafts.

Ready to head home and examine the candy and the new bunnies. Ava won the brown bunny and Gavin won the big blue bunnies.

Gavin liked his new bunny.

He even roughed it up a bit.

And then threw it aside in favor of a truck.

He who eats plastic eggs meant for Olivia school. I'm sure they appreciated a little bit of drool with the candy inside. Hehehe.

 Heard I'm headin' to the tub. So excited I can hardly contain myself.

 Oh they want to take my before picture. I'll smile real cute for mommy.

 Uh oh, what's that? Somebody puked by my foot.

 "Daddy, the puke- it got my foot."

 Oh much better. "Thank you Daddy. You're a genius."

First Hunt of Spring

  The race was on. Ava and Olivia went crazy running around collecting eggs.

 And it paid off. In the eggs both girls received a ticket for a prize to claim. Ava won a big basket and Liv won a small basket but traded for a chocolate bunny.

 Even the little tyke came out with some swag. He was given a bucket and toys.

 While the girls collected eggs Gavin played in the ball pit. He liked it but was questioning the others who wanted in on his party.

 There was also a great photo op with the bunny and Gavin just couldn't wrap his head around why his head was so big.

But he was pretty cool anyway.
